Dorothy House provided huge support throughout Mum's illness and particularly in the last weeks of her life. With the additional support of the regional teams' home visits and then at Dorothy House Hospice relieved a huge amount of pressure and meant she got to have a peaceful and pain-free end to her life. The wonderful care and support she received from the staff allowed our family to focus on spending quality time with Mum in her last few days. We couldn't be more thankful for the special group of kind, smiley and sincerely caring team at Dorothy House.

Like many hospices, Government funding only covers 20% of Dorothy House's cost and with the national insurance hike, donations are critical to ensuring that people like Mum and families like ours get the end-of-life support they need.
