Story

As many of you know, my mum received the most outstanding end of life care in November 2016 from Willow Wood Hospice following a long battle with Sarcoma. Not only did they treat her with compassion and dignity throughout her time there, they also supported me during this time as well as after.

What many people do not know is that Hospices are NOT fully funded by the Government and have to find up to a staggering 80% of the running costs each year through fundraising events and donations from their local community.

I have taken part in many fundraising activities for Willow Wood but this is by far the most daunting!!! This event is very much out of my comfort zone so please dig deep and donate whatever you can to keep this fantastic facility in our community.
