In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
Dear brothers and sisters,
In these challenging times, our hearts are heavy as we witness the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Lebanon. It is a reminder of our shared responsibility to alleviate the pain and hardship of others, particularly when they are in dire need of our help. As Muslims, charity (sadaqah) is not just a noble act but a commandment from Allah S.W.T.
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in every ear, there are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills." (Quran 2:261)
By donating you become a lifeline for those who have lost everything. Your generosity will help provide critical resources: food to fill empty stomachs, clean water to quench thirst, and shelter for those who have lost their homes. You will be giving more than just aid…you will be giving hope.
Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said, “Charity does not decrease wealth. No one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.” (Sahih Muslim)
These words are a beautiful reminder that giving from what we have, no matter how little or much we have, this brings blessings in this life and the next. At this moment, the people of Lebanon are enduring unimaginable hardships, and it is our duty as Muslims and as humans to stand by them.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said, “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Tirmidhi)
Let us be their shade today. Whether it is a small contribution or a larger donation, everything counts in providing food, water, shelter, and medical aid to those who need it most. Allah S.W.T. loves those who give and support their fellow brothers and sisters in humanity.
If you have even the smallest ability to give, do so now. If you cannot give financially, make Du’a for the people of Lebanon and for all who are suffering around the world. Together, we can ease their pain and show the compassion and mercy that our faith teaches us.
May Allah bless you for your generosity, accept your charity, and multiply your reward many times over Insha’Allah.
Together, we can stand in solidarity and show them that they are not forgotten. Please give what you can today.
“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind.” (Quran 5:32)
