Story

Delighted to say that on June 14th, I will be participating in the Ride Of Their Lives charity race at York Racecourse in order to raise as much money as possible for the fantastic Macmillan Cancer Support.

The 9f contest, now an iconic fixture at the beautiful Knavesmire track, will consist of 12 amateur riders from all walks of life, who will be taking on a huge fundraising and sporting challenge as part of the UK’s biggest charity raceday.

With millions of people affected by cancer every year, of whom thousands are young adults and children, Macmillan Cancer Support provide a vital service to individuals and their loved ones suffering from the disease. Every penny we raise will go towards emotional, financial and social care for cancer patients, including the wonderful Macmillan nurses, Macmillan grants and free counselling.

As someone who has been lucky enough to spend my life surrounded by an amazing racing community, both in the UK and abroad, I wanted to use the Ride Of Their Lives platform to give back to an extraordinary charity, and to set myself my own personal challenge.

Thank you all for your support
