Margaret Forster passed away suddenly but peacefully on 19th March 2025, after a short illness. She expressed her wish to support the vital work of Cancer Research UK as she had watched her youngest daughter bravely battle the disease and become a cancer survivor in previous years. There is still so much more lifesaving cancer research to be done!

Margaret was a wonderful, caring, supportive, beautiful wife, Mother of 5 and Nanny to 6 grandchildren, who is deeply missed. She was a hugely dedicated Mum, starting out as a singer and then going on to support her beloved husband, Brian, who gave 22 years of service to the RAF, whilst she was hands on with the children. The matriarch of the family, she was there for everyone to provide words of wisdom right up to her very last day. She will forever be in our hearts.
