Story
There’s a big difference between writing down your company values on a piece of paper... and actually living by them. At Caspian One, being an authentic team pulling together in the same direction – has been one of our core values since day one.
Professionally we express this constantly, but there comes a time when you need to escape the board room sessions, the 1:1s and strategy planning meetings and spend time together – as a leadership collective, as people, and as a team!
In that spirit, this September, Caspian One’s Board of Directors (including myself, Co-Founder Lee Barnett, Director of Sales Adam Vipond, and Director of Projects Ellen Price) will be taking on a tremendous mountain trek challenge, fundraising for a select group of charities; sponsored by Mike Gawthorne and the rest of the team at Hawker Chase.
Our trekking quartet will be summiting Mont Buet in Chamonix, France. At 3,096 metres / 10,000 ft, the mountain is 3x taller than the UK’s Mount Snowdon, making for an,
“Unforgettable, accessible, inspiring mountain challenge” - quoting challenge organisers, CHX Challenge.
Following two acclimatisation hikes on September 6th and 7th, our team will summit on the morning of September 8th. Each of the Board is fundraising for charities close to their hearts, including the National Autistic Society, Julia’s House, Cancer Research UK and, for me, Parkinson's UK.
