This year, I am running the Lumberjack Challenge (2, 5 and 10km races on Saturday and the full marathon on Sunday) with the goal of doing them all under 5 hours. Yes, it is a bold goal but one that is achievable. Ottawa Salus has a similar bold goal of stable housing for everyone.

Day in and day out, Salus works towards its vision of stabilizing housing for all. I am running for Ottawa Salus because I believe housing is a human right for all and I know first hand what Salus does for its clients and tenants.

For more than 45 years, Salus has been providing supportive housing and mental health services to adults living with severe and persistent mental illness in Ottawa. Now more than ever, there is a critical need for stable housing and mental health supports in our community.
