Story
About Our Team:
We are a dedicated group of employees from AML (Aston Martin Lagonda), who have come together with a common goal: to make a meaningful difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Our team, "AML Runners for Alzheimer's Research UK," is proud to participate in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 7, 2024. This incredible event will not only test our physical limits but also serve as a powerful platform to raise much-needed funds for Alzheimer's Research UK.
Why We Run:
Alzheimer's disease is a relentless and devastating condition that affects not only the individuals diagnosed but also their families, friends, and communities. We have seen the impact of Alzheimer's firsthand, and we are determined to contribute to the ongoing research that seeks to better understand, treat, and ultimately find a cure for this challenging disease. With each stride we take, we are running for hope, for progress, and for all those whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer's.
Our Commitment:
Our commitment to this cause is unwavering. As we lace up our running shoes and prepare for the London Landmarks Half Marathon, we are dedicating countless hours to training and fundraising. We have set a challenging fundraising goal, and we invite you to join us in this journey by making a donation. Your support, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in advancing Alzheimer's research and bringing us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer's.
