Story
This year I am taking part again in the London to Brighton Cycle 2024, and this time I am raising money for Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors without Borders (MSF).
There are two main reasons why I want to support MSF:
The first one being that MSF are doing incredible work in very difficult circumstances, and their help in the many regions suffering from geopolitical conflict and instability is absolutely vital.
The second very personal reason is that last year we lost our friend Irène who dedicated 20 years working full-time for MSF, supporting doctors and nurses around the world. Irene fell ill very suddenly a couple of days after her 50th birthday, spent three months in a coma and unfortunately didn't pull through. Her illness was as sudden and tragic as it is for those who all the courageous staff at MSF are trying to save. Irène was a wonderful person and I am dedicating this cycle ride to her memory.
By donating to my page you will be support MSF to respond quickly during an emergency, treating those most in need as quickly as possible. It also means we can respond to epidemics, conflicts, and disasters at a moment’s notice, so a huge thank you!
Thank you!
