I'm supporting this amazing appeal because..... As an egg chasing/catching fan from an early age and player, I followed Leeds Rhinos through their great days. Rob Burrows was only 5ft 5in but never looked out of place amongst the big props on the field. I used to say to myself, "that is one angry little man", then who wouldn't be when you are having to go up against some of the hardest men on the M62 corridor. To see Rob decline in such a way as he is doing is heart breaking and if the Rob Burrows Centre can prevent or slow down this horrible disease, then every penny they receive will be truly well spent! The bike ride I am about to undertake was born out of an idea in the pub ( aren't they all!) as the TV was showing Kevin Sinfield running his 7th Marathon. I quietly sat in the silence of the bar as people watched Kevin effortlessly glided along the streets.. It was in that moment I decided to undertake my own challenge and here I am, waiting for Friday the 28th April to come around.

I know times are hard at the moment but if you can find any spare change in your cars/pockets/sofas/old handbags, please don't hesitate to give it to this great cause.
