Story
Rowans Hospice helped care for someone me and my family hold very closely to our hearts. Maude was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and fought her way to the very end. Maude and her family, were cared for through some of her, (and their), darkest moments. It’s been hard to know how thanks could ever be repaid to them for devoting such dignified and compassionate care to her for which all who now miss Maude will be forever grateful for. It only felt more than appropriate that Rowans Hospice are undoubtedly the charity I want to support during my Marathon run.
I want to lovingly tribute my marathon to Maude & her family.
So please, no matter how small, any donation is greatly appreciated, to give back a tiny piece of what they gave to Maude and her family at what will be the hardest time they will ever go through.
Rowans Hospice provide palliative care of the highest quality for those living with a life-limiting illness, and their families, in South East Hampshire. Our hospice carers help improve quality of life for the patient by easing physical symptoms and offering psychological, spiritual and social support to both patients and their loved ones. Hospice care is available round the clock. We receive a very small level of statutory support from the Government, however, almost all of the money needed to provide our services has to be raised through donations and fundraising
