I'm reaching out to ask for donations and your support.

Ilyas and I will trek Iceland this February 2025 to raise vital funds for the Lord Wandsworth Foundation. This is a tough challenge with freezing cold temperatures, icy winds, and uneven, mountainous snow-covered paths. Taking part will definitely take us out of our comfort zones as we hike volcanos and cross inhospitable terrain. We would be grateful if you could give what you can to support the Lord Wandsworth Foundation.

The Foundation (a part of Lord Wandsworth College in Hampshire) provides transformational school places for children who have suffered the loss of a parent, primarily through bereavement. Did you know that by the age of 16, around 1 in 20 young people will have experienced the death of one or both of their parents? LWC offers approximately 50 Foundation places to children who have faced such challenging times in their young lives.

The founder of Lord Wandsworth College recognized the urgent need to create a vibrant and supportive boarding school environment for children from complex backgrounds, enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential. Today, this vision remains at the heart of everything the school does. Ilyas and I have seen first-hand the incredible work the Foundation has provided for the students, not just through education but also through the pastoral care provided by dedicated staff.
