In an attempt to raise significant funds to support UNICEF's Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal, I plan to run 3 marathons within 5 weeks! This will be quite the challenge for me as recovery between each marathon will be key and I aim to get faster in each subsequent marathon.

Thousands of children are affected by the violent conflict in Gaza. The unrelenting bombardment of Gaza is taking an unimaginable horrifying toll on the lives of children and their families.

Supply routes into Gaza have been severely impacted. Children (as well as their families) are running out of food, water, electricity, and medicine. Homes, hospitals, schools and critical infrastructure lie in ruin.

Despite the dangerous security situation, UNICEF continues to deliver life-saving supplies, including medicines and clean water, as well as mental health support.

With supplies and living conditions rapidly declining, UNICEF needs our help to reach more children.

Update:16th Jan 2024: increased target from £6k to 8k. Ambition to keep raising as much as possible given the important cause and big marathon challenge. Will review again if reaching 90% of new target.

Update: 27th Feb 2024: increased target from £8k to £10k. Achieved 87% of £8k and decided to really go for my original ambition of raising £10k for the children of Gaza.
