Story
In June 2019, aged 11, Issy was diagnosed with Philadelphia Positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (Ph+ALL), a rare blood cancer that she fought hard to beat through two years of harsh chemotherapy. After working hard to regain her strength and mobility and rebuild her life during her 8 months of remission, Issy was dealt a devastating blow when she received a second leukaemia diagnosis. Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia required another harrowing journey with both harsh chemotherapies and radiotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant from Issy’s little sister, Tilly. A year on, our girl is strong, positive and determined to help other children facing the battles she has endured so we’re hosting our inaugural ball on the eve of her 16th birthday. We hope to raise money to help towards finding kinder cures for children undergoing cancer treatment.
