In November 2024, Mandy was lucky enough to be referred to Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate where she spent an incredible six weeks under their exceptional care. All the staff at the hospice go above and beyond, providing not just outstanding medical care but also helping families create cherished, joyful memories during challenging times.

Saint Michael’s is the local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness across the Harrogate district can access high quality, personalised care. We do this by offering a range of services from our Hornbeam Park-based hospice, and out in the community in people’s own homes, as well as reaching out regionally and nationally. We are also passionate about working in partnership to enable others to offer hospice-standard care. We believe everyone should get care that is personalised and responsive to their individual needs.
