Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are taking on the challenge of kayaking part of the Zambezi River in Zambia, from 1 - 10 July 2024. We are raising funds for the conservation of wildlife through education about existing human and wildlife conflicts caused by poaching and how to create a more sustainable, harmonised environment. Education is essential to save many species that are in serious threat including the African elephant.
We will be wild camping and roughing it along the way to sustainably blend into the environment. We will spend time at a local school where Conservation Lower Zambezi (CLZ) are already implementing education programs thanks to funding received from the Tusk Trust.
There will be obstacles along the way including hippos, crocodiles and snakes that inhabit the waters of the Zambezi river.
All your support is really welcome and appreciated.
