Story

Thank you for taking the time to read our JustGiving page.

We are all taking part in the Aberdeen Kilt Walk 4th June 2023 and Dave is cycling the "Ride London" on May 28th 2023.

Changing Charlie's Future supports Duchenne UK a charity that has one clear aim to end Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

Charlie is our friend's little nephew in Aberdeen who was diagnosed at 3yrs old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He and his twin sister will be 7yrs old in September. You can read his story at Duchenne UK under Changing Charlie's Future

DMD is a devastating muscle-wasting disease. It is the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy. Diagnosed in childhood, it mainly affects boys. Started by families affected by the disease, Duchenne UK is the leading DMD charity in the UK: connecting the best researchers with industry, the NHS and families to advance and accelerate every stage of drug development.

Together, we will end Duchenne.
