Story
On Sunday 3rd November, I will take part in the "365 Step up for Gaza Challenge" where I will hike the 1,200 metres of Mount Snowdon to raise awareness and desperately needed funds for the people of Gaza. 365 represents 365 days of unimaginable suffering for the people of Gaza. Families live in constant fear as violence tears through their homes, leaving behind a trail of devastation. With basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical care becoming harder to access, every day is a struggle for survival.
Imagine being a parent in Gaza. You watch helplessly as your children grow weaker from malnutrition, their health deteriorating as hospitals run out of supplies. Your home, once a place of comfort, is now a fragile shelter, barely standing. The sound of conflict echoes through the streets, and you wonder if you’ll be able to protect your loved ones for another day.
But in the midst of this overwhelming despair, there is hope. Human Appeal has been on the ground, providing emergency relief to those most in need. From distributing food packages to delivering life-saving medical supplies, their work has brought comfort and survival to countless families.
However, the need is greater than ever, and they can’t do it alone. By donating to this JustGiving campaign - "Step Up For Gaza: 1 Year On", you become a lifeline for those who have lost everything. Your generosity will help provide critical resources: food to fill empty stomachs, clean water to quench thirst, and shelter for those who’ve lost their homes.
You’ll be giving more than just aid—you’ll be giving hope. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in the lives of Gaza’s most vulnerable.
Together we can stand in solidarity and show them that they are not forgotten. Please give what you can today.
