Story

Join us in our mission to provide a lasting solution for four communities in Brazil - the Madha, Kaxinawa, Apurina, and Yawasay villages. With your support, we aim to ensure safe and clean drinking water access for individuals in these villages. Every contribution directly contributes to drilling wells, acquiring essential equipment such as water pumps and generators or solar panels, thus establishing a sustainable, long term solution.

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT DONATIONS UP TO £500 WILL BE MATCH FUNDED BY AN ANONYMOUS DONOR.

Your generosity and support will make a significant impact on the lives of these communities- TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE 👍👏🏼!

About the campaign

About the charity

The Community Foundation for Planetary Healing is a Scottish based volunteer-led charity created in 2003. We work with local volunteers helping people in Scotland who are struggling with their physical, emotional mental and spiritual health by offering holistic support and nature connected activities. We are also working in partnership with indigenous groups in Brazil helping to provide the support that they need to become more self-reliant with small scale farming creating food sovereignty and protecting the Amazon forest. Our approach is unique – we use the holistic ways inspired by indigenous ways of working in the community as tools for health and wellbeing promoting positive changes and empowerment for people. In this process, our volunteers are empowered too. Since 2003, for the last 17 years, we have been working locally creating sustainable health projects supporting people struggling with mental health, carers, people with cancer, children and young people. We actively train and support our volunteers within our organisation; we are proud to be a team of over 52 volunteers taking action towards equality, inclusion, health and wellbeing. Since our establishment, we have created, delivered and supported projects in Scotland, Brazil and recently in India.
