Hello, friends and family,

I am thrilled (and a bit nervous!) to share that I, along with a brave team of adventurers, will be embarking on an extraordinary eight-day Arctic challenge in the breathtaking, yet formidable wilderness of Sweden. This isn't just any trip; it's a journey that will push our limits and challenge our survival skills in ways we've never experienced before.

Far removed from the comforts of home, we will immerse ourselves in the heart of this icy expanse. Our days will be filled with unique challenges such as rationing our food, melting ice for water, building fires for warmth, ice-fishing for sustenance, and culminating in a rigorous two-day survival stint where we will sleep in a snow hole we've built ourselves, in temperatures that plummet to minus 30 degrees. Imagine that!

Why are we doing this? It's all in support of Nugent's 'Our Future Now' mission, which is dedicated to transforming lives through initiatives focused on Employability, Accommodation, Poverty Alleviation, and Making Memories. Nugent has been a beacon of hope, caring for the most vulnerable from the beginning to the end of life.
