Together All the Way for Ukraine fundraiser

As Liverpool was hosting the Eurovision Song Content on behalf of the 2022 winners, Ukraine, we decided to host a fundraising event to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Customers, suppliers, colleagues, friends and family joined us for a night of celebration, auctions and live music from TWO UK Eurovision winners The Fizz and Katrina (formerly of the Waves).

There was plenty of singing and dancing, and an auction, led to some very serious bids, and generous donations.

Here at Maersk we'd like to thank everyone involved for helping us raise money for such an iportant cause. We continue to fundraise through internal events throughout 2023.

Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing millions to flee. Homes have been destroyed. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month
