Story
I am taking part in a triple sport challenge as my Olympic theme fundraiser for National Autistic Society.
There are 45 competitions in the Paris 2024 Olympics so I am going to split 45 miles over three sports, 15 miles walking, 15 miles running and 15 miles cycling over the summer holidays.
I am doing this challenge to spread autism awareness and acceptance and to raise as much money as possible for the National Autistic Society.
I am taking part in the Team Autism Summer Games and completing an Olympic themed challenge. My fundraising will help to support autistic people and build a society that works for them.
Autistic people face discrimination and barriers across all sectors of society – in the health and social care systems, in education, in employment, and everywhere in between.
It is crucial that autistic people, and their families and carers, can access tailored information, guidance and support to overcome those barriers, along with opportunities to explore their interests, develop skills and build friendships for fulfilled lives.
For over 60 years the National Autistic Society has been working to change attitudes and transform lives. With our help they can continue on this mission. Thank you for your support!
