The Masjid of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was a centre for the world, not just for learning but also for community service catering for the homeless, poor and needy.

As Madinah Masjid reaches its 50th year, we are embarking on an exciting new project to establish an adjoining community centre which will facilitate youth engagement, social services and support, education, dialogue between the towns diverse communities and collaborating in good.

I have grown up around the masjid and have witnessed how welcoming and inclusive a space it is. The masjid is always buzzing with activity whether teaching BSL classes, facilitating womens groups, championing justice, maintaining community spaces or hosting Quranic story night sessions. I am reaching out to ask for your help in laying the foundations, as a legacy for us and a service to future generations.
