MND Fundraising Day, 14 July 2023
We fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND

Story

We are organising an MND fundraising day to allow our patients, their families and friends or those who have lost someone through Motor Neurone Disease to come together at Macclesfield Rugby Club for an enjoyable day and do some vital fundraising for East Cheshire Hospice and Cheshire branch of MND Association, who support many of those suffering from MND and their families in the local area.

We know it can be difficult to know how exactly to best help those we love who have been diagnosed with MND, so we decided to organise a day where patients, families and staff will be doing laps of a circuit on a variety of wheeled modes of transport, eg, scooters, wheelchairs, commode, bicycles and more. The aim is to complete 300 laps and with your generosity to raise £500.

The event will be held at Macclesfield Rugby club on Friday 14th July 10.30am – 2pm. Tickets for a place can be booked by emailing nnye@echospice.org.uk or Jill 07874 274806.

If you can’t make it to the day/event and want to support please donate through the JustGiving donation link. Please do share the fundraising link with friends and family.
