Story
In the latter part of 2023 our family was hit by some of the worst news a parent could ever hear. "Your Child has Cancer". My beautiful 3 year old niece was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumour and since her diagnosis she has been battling through operations and treatment to try to combat this awful disease. The care she has received has been amazing and the team working on Ward E39 has been nothing short of remarkable, not just for Mabel but for all the other children facing their own battles on that Ward.
So to give something back, I am thrilled to announce that I have joined #TeamPASIC and will be participating in the Baslow Boot Bash a grueling 26.5 mile Marathon over the Peaks of Derbyshire and the Ramathon Half Marathon for PASIC 2024, an event dedicated to raising funds for local children with cancer. As a passionate advocate for PASIC Cancer Support, an organization that provides practical, emotional, and financial support to over 450 families in the East Midlands who have a child diagnosed with cancer, I am determined to make a difference.
The Ramathon for PASIC 2024 is not just another race; it's an opportunity to bring hope and support to those who need it most. On June 30, 2024, I will be lacing up my running shoes and pushing myself to the limit, all in the name of helping these brave children and their families.
But I can't do it alone. I need your support. By sponsoring me in this incredible endeavour, you can help ensure that PASIC Cancer Support continues its vital work. Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of these courageous young fighters.
Please consider making a donation towards my target amount of £1,000. Every contribution counts and brings us one step closer to providing the much-needed assistance these families deserve.
Join me on this journey of compassion and generosity. Together, let's show these children that they are not alone in their fight against cancer. Your support means the world to them.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.
Regards,
Christopher Morehen.
