BraveheartsNI is a local charity supporting teenagers and adults living in Northern Ireland with congenital heart disease by providing pastoral & welfare support to them and their families. 30 years ago 20% of people born with CHD reached adulthood, today it’s 90% There are approximately 5,000 teenagers & young adults living in Northern Ireland with Congenital Heart Disease and 250,000 in the UK. BraveheartsNI is a local 100% volunteer lead charity. Every penny is precious & goes directly to supporting Bravehearts & their families in Northern Ireland. BraveheartsNI continues to help CHD patients living in NI gain strength through friendships and by working together to develop their future as adults living with CHD.
