We will be walking the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise funds for Prostate Scotland in memory of our lovely friend/husband/dad Simon Laidlaw who sadly passed away in November 2021 from prostate cancer.

Simon was one of life’s great characters who never failed to make us all smile. He was probably the poshest person we have all ever met (the vintage Bentley did nothing to dispel this impression!) 😆 But he was also an inherently kind, generous and loving individual whose passing has left a huge gap in our ‘Morven Massive’ gang. We all miss him terribly, not least his amazing wife Mel and son Zack.

Mel has carefully selected this charity for our 2024 Kiltwalk to raise funds to help future prostate cancer patients tackle this dreadful disease.

The ‘Big Stroll’ is, not as the name suggests a ‘stroll in the park’ and we can all testify with the missing toe nails and numerous blisters we all had last year that it is, indeed a real test of our mental and physical strength to face it again! But we are doing it for Simon and all the other hundreds of men who have faced prostate cancer in the past and will do so in the future. This is our motivation and drive to complete this walk. 💪🏻
