Story
I am really pleased to have this opportunity to be part of a fantastic event - all to raise much needed funds for Stick 'n' Step! As a lot of people will know, I work with children with Special Education Needs and Disability and children with complex needs. I would love to support a cause that has such a big impact on children, young people and their families as the work they do is invaluable.
I am taking on the challenge of learning the Latin style dance of the Cha Cha Cha and competing for the glitterball trophy. The challenge is 10 lessons to get to competition level and really do this dance justice. Not only do I need to reach the target of £1,000 I also need to fill at least a table of 10 for the black tie event on the night. If anyone would like a ticket to come and watch on 11th November, at Thornton Hall please contact me to purchase separately.
Thank you for any donation you are able to make - no matter the amount, it will make a big difference to the many children and families that attend Stick 'n' Step.
Stick ‘n’ Step is a charity that enables, inspires, and supports children with cerebral palsy and their families. We support children and young people with cerebral palsy up to the age of 25 through the provision of free weekly conductive education (CE) sessions. Sessions are delivered by highly skilled professionals from specialist centres in Wallasey and Runcorn and are designed to help each child reach their personal potential in terms of mobility, confidence, and independence.
Stick ‘n’ Step receives no government funding, and relies greatly on supporters. The sponsorship money raised will help to fund and deliver services to over 100 families across the North West each year.
