We care for big cats and fund conservation to protect them from worldwide extinction

Story

2025 marks 25 years of The Big Cat Sanctuary and to celebrate this milestone, I am aiming to raise £25,000 for all of the animals in our care and our conservation work at both The Big Cat Sanctuary and Hertfordshire Zoo.

Over recent months, as part of our Big Cats in Crisis mission, we have rescued 5 lions from war-torn Ukraine, with shell shock. They are settling very well in their new forever home.

Yuna, the lioness, arrived last year at the Sanctuary, the remaining 4 lions Rory, Vanda, Lera and Amani arrived just a few weeks ago, and they have already been on grass for the first time, exploring their new bespoke habitats. They are all grow in confidence day by day.

As you know, I always like to try new and exciting sporting challenges. In order to help me reach my target, I have the following events planned;

- Wing walk - Completed

--Boston Marathon - on Monday 21st April 2025

-My 22nd consecutive London Marathon - on Sunday 27th April 2025

The Thames River 150 mile Ultra race - August 25

There will also be many more challenges to come, and special event at both parks, if you would like further information on these please visit the links below, throughout 2025;

Thank you so much for all of your support and kindness.
