Story

I’m taking part in the Kiltwalk this June with some of my lovely colleagues in support of women’s health research at the University of Aberdeen. The team’s research is so important as women are still wildly under-represented in so many areas of medical research, particularly women from ethnic minorities! Conditions like endometriosis and diseases like ovarian cancer are still going undiagnosed for a long time and this has such an impact on the lives of women and their families. It will be 15 years this June since we lost our beautiful and kind mum Rosie, to ovarian cancer that was diagnosed too late, so this year I will be walking the 18 miles for her!
