I'm taking part in Barnardo's 350,000 steps Challenge. As CEO of the charity it feels important for me to walk my talk, literally in this case! There is more and more demand for our services - children and families struggling to make ends meet, choosing between heating and eating, unable to afford some of life’s essentials. In one of the richest economies in the world this shouldn’t be the case. At Barnardo’s we’re turning the heating back on, putting food in cupboards, making sure children have coats and shoes to keep them warm this winter and helping people get back on their feet, one step at a time.
