Walk of Hope is our annual national event raising money to bring hope to brain tumour patients and their families. It will take place on Saturday 28th September 2024, or you can organise your own Walk of Hope any day in September that suits you.

Story

On the 28th of September we are walking as a family in memory of Ewan - husband, son, brother, uncle. Ewan died on the 2nd November 2023 aged 51 after being diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma in March.

We are doing the Walk of Hope in support of Brain Tumour Research. There are so few treatment options available to GBM patients and that has got to change. We are walking to help fund early stage research which could lead to the discovery of urgently needed new and improved treatments. Any donations are appreciated!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
