Lyndzey's Couch to 26.2 fundraiser for Young Epilepsy

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Epilepsy entered our family's life with a bang when at just 9 months old, our baby had her first seizure.
Three months later, the week before her 1st birthday, after multiple tests, she was diagnosed with Left Temporal Focal Epilepsy. Our lives have been turned upside down.
She currently has multiple seizures a month and has been hospitalized many times.
Epilepsy is cruel; if it's not the seizures impacting her life, the meds leave her exhausted.
Despite the challenges, she is the most resilient child, teaching us every day to live life to the full. I hope to draw on her strength as I go from Couch to 26.2 in April for Young Epilepsy's London Marathon 2025 challenge.
