Story

When Mason was 9 months he had a stroke and lost complete motion in the right side of his body. It was due to Cavernomas (abnormal blood vessels) on his brain. Since then Mason has had two major brain surgeries to remove these cavernomas, performed by the most amazing neurosurgeon in Alder Hey. These surgeries were extremely difficult ones but thanks to Alder Hey and the neurology team our baby boy was saved and has a second chance in life. He is now 2 and is running around the place (albeit a bit wobbly) and will be able to take part in the walk. We will never be able to thank Alder Hey for what they have done but we would like to raise as much money as we can to say thank you.
