Story
The year, World Mental Health Day is on the 10th October.
On this day, I will complete a 10km swim (400 lengths in a 25m pool). I have been out of swimming for around 6 months and my swim fitness has disappeared. (For some context for non-swimmers, swimming 10km is roughly the equivalent of a runner doing a marathon says the internet, though the two are hard to compare as they are different sports/fitness types)
Initial goal was 5km, but I fancy a challenge.
Mind is a charity close to my heart and through my career I've been lucky enough to see the amazing work it does.
