Story

I fundraised for Save the Children Charity in my final year at university by participating in THE GREAT EDINBURGH 10 MILE RUN, a sporting event that took place in April 2017. I am now fundraising for Save the Children Again by doing the 8 week White Collar Fighter Boxing Programme. Having experienced temporary accommodation firsthand, I witnessed the dire living conditions children in poverty endure. I encountered families struggling to provide for their children in unstable living situations with no proper facilities or cooking equipment, sanitation and surrounded by antisocial behavior. This has to stop. Save the Children is dedicated to alleviating child poverty, a cause very close to my heart, especially now as a new parent myself. They believe that every child deserves a future, providing them with a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm. By supporting my fundraising efforts with a target amount of £500, you are helping to give children a brighter future. Thank you for your support!
