Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Once again One Challenge At A Time has upped the ante!

My last challenge back in 2019 in Ecuador was curtailed by illness and then riots in Quito and it left me somewhat unsatisfied. So how to rectify that? Get back in the saddle and visit a country that I have always wanted to see.

Nepal provides mountains and high passes, isolation and challenges and I have picked one of the best..

The Annapurna circuit is essentially a trekking circuit but with a bit of hike a bike, some people are mad enough to take it on with a bike! Going over one of the highest passes in the world and with views that encompasses some of the highest mountains in the world, although the distance is not as great as previous challenges, every mile will be hard fought.

Less crowded than the more popular Everest base camp route, this should provide some of the isolation that I crave.

But what's the point?

The point is to provide enough entertainment for those following the ride and to suffer enough to deserve sponsorship, raising money for Love Hope Strength Foundation, whilst once again testing my personal limits.
