Dear Friends

As salaamu alaikum.

Various Hadith cite the Prophet (PBUH) saying: “Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

By donating, not only will you be supporting a place of worship but laying foundations for your own spiritual rewards in this life and the next.

I have had an association with this area of London (Gants Hill) for the last 30 years.

Previously this area was dominated by the Jewish community, today in its place is a growing and thriving Muslim community and it requires resources like this Masjid to serve its varied needs.

The main prayer hall accommodates c350 worshippers and it is filled twice for Jumm'a Salah. There are also separate prayer facilities for females.

I know all of you will have been super generous in your charity throughout Ramadhan but I am requesting that 100 of my friends (I know many of you will be thinking, surely he does not have 100 friends, perhaps a little license 😊) chip-in £10 each to help me towards this good cause. You can ofcourse give as much or as little as you like.

Please also share with your friends and family including your children.
