Curry Kitchen is a pioneering partnership project between Community Interest Luton & Discover Islam. Our aim is to provide weekly hot meals to those in need and the vulnerable in Luton. Each meal costs £1.80 and we provide a hot meal 130 people.

Story

The Curry Kitchen is a pioneering partnership project between Community Interest Luton and Discover Islam Information Centre and local businesses.

Each hot and nutritious meal costs just £1.80 per person and every penny of your donation goes towards providing the meal. So you know that everything you give will help feed someone in need.

We have provided over 43,200 hot meals since we started, which is truly amazing! But we need to make sure we can keep feeding those people most in need each week and have to raise around £12,000 to provide enough meals for one year.

COVID had a huge impact on this project. Firstly, the need and demand for hot food has gone up significantly and this will only get worse as the nights get longer, it gets colder and the weather gets worse.

A donation of £18 will help feed ten people and provide them with a safe and warm space to eat, talk to others and access the additional support they need. Anything you can donate to help the homeless and vulnerable p
