Story

Thank you for taking the time to view my fundraising page!

The Black Capital Group and its employees have committed to raising money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity over the next 4 years. We hope that our collective efforts will make a significant impact to their nationwide research and development!

Our fundraising will specifically help fund life-changing research into Hirschsprung's disease which is a project Alder Hey have been working on for over 15 years. Hirschsprung's disease is a rare condition impacting 1 in 3500 children per year and if left untreated they are susceptible to life-threatening bowel conditions.

To make sure I’m playing my part in our fundraising efforts, I am pushing myself massively out of my comfort zone and in October 2024 I will be completing a 10-day trek of the Himalayas in Nepal. This is something a year ago I wouldn’t of believed I was capable of, but I am excited to challenge myself for such an incredible charity.

I am extremely grateful for any donation you are able to make, no matter the size. Every donation supports the ground-breaking research into finding new and better treatments for children with Hirschsprung's disease.

Thank you!
