Hello!

I will be running the London Marathon on behalf of the Cardiomyopathy UK team. I will also be running the Manchester marathon on the 14th April, so have signed up to two marathons in a week! Not only because I enjoy setting myself up to physical challenges that may break my body and spirit, but also because it's a great opportunity to raise some money for an amazing cause.

Some of you may be unaware, but I have been at St Barts Hospital for ~5years now, and many of the patients that I see day to day have some form of cardiomyopathy, whether that is ischaemic, Hypertrophic, Dilated, or Obstructive cardiomyopathy. I've seen first hand the amazing work that goes into care and support for patients suffering with cardiomyopathy.

Many of these patients have a history of sudden cardiac death in the family, and may require transplants in the future and therefore any donation will go a long way to supporting the work that goes on behind the scenes.
