Story

Hi Gang!

I am always chasing adventures or challenging myself physically or mentally, but I have rarely used those opportunities to fundraise. As you know though, I give a lot of my time to REACT Disaster Response, both in training, projects and deployments in the UK and Internationally.

I am passionate about both and having witnessed for myself the growing humanitarian crisis around the world and the increasing funding gaps at home and abroad I have decided to select a number of my challenges this year to raise money for REACT. This will allow us to get out on the ground and continue to help those most in need and vulnerable.

So that you know I will not flake on you, I have 'bought in' with my first challenge already completed!

--24th December to 31st December: AEE Festive 50

A military based 'tab/yomp' accumulating 50 miles in the outdoors carrying 35lbs.

—1st March to 30th June: #reactive-challenge 2024

Team Rocket, target 2000 miles moved by run/bike/swim/paddle and 300 hours invested

--28th April: RunBalmoral Bristow 15 Mile Trail Race

--26th May: RideLondon 100

A 100 mile group cycle around London/Essex with the a number of the other REACT Gang

--26th/27th August: Lochness 24

Returning for a second year I will be joining a team to complete this 24 hour ultra event. Last year I clocked up over 50 miles in the 24 hour period with our team accumulating some 230+ miles.

Throughout the year I will continue to reshare this page and you can find it on my socials. If you are struggling for a gift idea or have some spare change please feel free to make a donation :)
