Story
Shropshire Cat Rescue currently have a lot of kittens in their care, they have arrived for various reasons with some being left on a neighbours drive in a crate.
Some of the kittens are needing extra veterinary care and special food which adds to the mounting cost to care for the kittens.
Two sisters gave birth within a couple of days of each other. We had kept them together meaning they assisted each other during the birth and are now jointly taking care of their kittens. This is what would happen if they were in a feral colony, the females work together to care for the kittens taking it in turns to leave the nest for food.
Our volunteers are working extra hard and providing extra socialisation for kittens that are more nervous of people. Some are needing feeding support whilst others are just very good at making a mess so regular checks and cleaning out are needed.
