In September I am setting out for 3 days hiking on remote mountain trails in the Fiz Massif mountain range adjoining Mont Blanc in the French Alps. Hiking to altitudes of over 2300m (almost double the height of Ben Nevis), and sleeping in remote mountain refuges...

I'm doing this to raise much needed funds for St George's School in Ethiopia. In recent months due to the influx of refugees from Sudan there has been civil unrest and intermittent local lockdowns due to military interventions to protect the Gondar region where St George's is located. In order to get food supplies in such difficult times, I really need your help. All of your donations will go directly to the school, providing the children with:

- A completely free education

- Two nutritious meals a day

- All educational resources

- Healthcare and development checks

- School uniform

- Transport to and from the school
