Event: GDA and CCP fundraising firewalk 2024, on 23 February 2024
Our fire walk will be an exhilarating experience and a fantastic way to raise money for two great causes! Taking place on 23 February on Brickhampton Court Golf Complex, join our firewalk for a test of mental strength, concentration, and mindfulness!

Story

As part of SLG’s commitment to raise money for our chosen charities, this year Lucy Beresford & Sue Davies have bravely put themselves forward to walk on fire.

On Friday 23rd February at Brickhampton Golf Course in Churchdown, Lucy & Sue and many other fearless fundraisers will walk over hot coals in aid of CCP, whose aim is to prevent the causes and reduce the effects of homelessness, family breakdown and exclusion in Gloucestershire.

They’ve chosen to feel the fear and do it anyway!

Funds raised from the firewalk will go toward the many essential roles that CCP play in Gloucestershire society, including offering temporary and supported accommodation for homeless young people, food provisions, family, community and housing related support and many others.

Any contribution you make would be very gratefully received

(unless of course its kerosene/petrol).
