Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity is about making a difference to the thousands of children they see every year. They do this by supporting projects that provide state-of-the-art and specialised equipment to help improve the diagnosis and treatment of children.

They also support research that can help get to better understanding of childrens illnesses and provide the treatments of the future and support projects that help to create a more child friendly environment.

I personally spent over two months in this hospital three years ago, before being transferred to a more specialist hospital that was suitable for me. RMCH saved my life. The staff made me feel like a person rather than a patient or bed. They took time to make me feel okay, despite my fears. I miss each one of the staff on ward 86 and hope to return one day and tell them how I’m doing, since I wouldn’t be here without them.
