Story
It is a HUGE privilege to be part of the Amnesty International London Marathon Team. I am crazy lucky to have been chosen as this is a charity I really care about.
I’m hoping to raise money and awareness for the incredible work Amnesty International does to protect human rights around the world. They work to eliminate inequality and elevate human rights around the world. Sadly, their work is more important than ever right now.
This is my first full marathon 😱 My longest distance is a half (13.1 miles) so this is pretty terrifying! I’m living up to the Ross Edgley quote “be naive enough to start, stubborn enough to finish”
I’m hopeful with the support from my family and my fellow Running Buddies I will be able to get through the training and get to run this iconic event.
I know times are really tough but if you can spare anything as a one-off or monthly donation I would really appreciate it.
Amnesty are an amazing charity and their work is vital so every donation is greatly appreciated.

More about Amnesty….
Amnesty International is a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights. When injustice happens to one person, it happens to us all.
Recent campaigns include refugee and migrant rights, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, Syrian conflict and LGBTI rights. Amnesty's biggest achievements include outlawing torture, holding war criminals to account and controlling the arms trade.
Your support is of significant value - only together can we continue to make a difference.
