Tabor Living is growing to support more people to move on from homelessness. Our new home means all guests to have their own room, as well as offering move on accommodation. This means more people can access our specialist strength-based support.

Story

This year we lost both Mom and Dad within 6 months of each other and will be running the Lichfield 10k together in September in their memory. Our parents had strong ties with Birmingham and were both very kind and caring people who wanted to help those less fortunate. This is why we have chosen Tabor Living as the charity to benefit from donations made in their memory.

About the charity:

Over the last five years, Tabor House has supported over 70 men and women, who were sleeping rough on the streets of Birmingham into their own home and into work.

However, over this time we have become increasingly conscious of the need for increased support for homeless people. We have started work with St Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in the heart of Birmingham to provide a new home for our work with homeless people. We are taking the opportunity to bring all our services together under the name Tabor Living.

The building work is nearly complete and we aim to open in January 2023 but we need your support to help to provide the care and support that our guests need as they work to make a permanent change to their lives. Your donations will enable our skilled and experienced staff to provide activities, food, and specialist support to overcome the challenges in their lives, focusing on their unique strengths as they move forward.

Thank you for supporting the work of Tabor Living
