Story
On the 11th May our family’s lives changed forever when our nephew Reggie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). Reggie fought incredibly hard and is the bravest little boy we know, but sadly, Reggie passed away just 11 days after his diagnosis. Reggie would have been three on the 8th June this year, but his life was so cruelly cut short by this awful disease. Reggie leaves behind his Mum Alice, his Dad Ethan, his brother Coby and the rest of his family who will love and miss him forever.
No family should ever have to experience the loss of a child, but unfortunately, many more families will go through the pain our family feels and will continue to feel for the rest of our lives. ALL is one of the most common forms of Leukaemia in children aged four and under. Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) help to raise awareness of the disease in the hope to drive early detection and diagnosis. Donations made to CCLG contribute towards the development of kinder and more effective treatments which will hopefully lead to children being cured.
To Reggie, you are, and will continue to be the brightest star in the sky, we will never stop talking about you and you will forever leave a huge hole in our hearts.
On 15th September, my sister and I will be running the Worcester Half Marathon in memory of Reggie and to raise money for Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group.
We would be extremely grateful for any donations received.
