In March 2025, we will be trekking 100km across the Sahara Desert with 26 members of Team Carter! This is the next chapter in a long series of events spanning across 9 years & totalling over £450,000! We are lucky, our little boy Carter is in remission after many years of treatment, but there are still many children enduring the gruelling & lengthy protocol that comes with childhood cancer. It is CTB's sole mission to make this journey easier for other people's Carters. It is also CTB's ethos that every single penny raised goes directly to BCH so this trip is 100% self funded by ALL Trekkers meaning that ALL donations go directly to making a difference for these children.

Since 2016 Carter the Brave has made a huge impact with highlights being the Handsfree Vocera system, 3 x IV Vein Finders, 1500 Amazon vouchers, 7 revolutionary GameStations, £107,000 to the CTB Fellowship Research Fund resulting in groundbreeaking research, 2 Chemo CADD Pumps allowing children to stay at home more & more recently 2 Mouth Ulcer Treatment Machines & Anti Coag machines to reduce pain for the children whilst also reducing their hospital visits.

It has been an arduous journey for us all & one that is fraught with stress, pain & fear. We will always keep striving towards helping other children & their families who find themselves in the horrific world that is Childhood Cancer.
